The Body Shop-Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter Review

Hello Girls!!

The Body Shop has introduced sumptuous cleansing butter but it is truly sumptuous??

There's been huge craze with cleansing gels and cleansing butters nowadays..  I heard lots of good things about this Body Shop Cleansing butter.  Needless, to say I was really curious and wanted to try it myself. It's works really well on removing all the waterproof mascara, eyeliner with ease and it's compared with Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm which is priced too high ( budget issues :-p )

I picked this up for good deal as they have good offers going on for this month. You can also buy your products for good offers in the website The Body Shop

It's a 90 ml product retails for about Rs. 1095/-

Keep reading for my full review ..

Let's see what the product claims..

This cleanser is an indulgent make-up remover for the whole face. It gently and efficiently melts away makeup and impurities, leaving skin free, refreshed and pampered. Gently melts away all , leaving skin feel clean and petal soft. Removes all types of makeup. Suitable for sensitive skins and contact lens wearers.

My Thoughts on The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter :

This is  a soft wax-balm like consistency which reminds me more like a shoe wax -_- . It comes in a sturdy tin. It doesn't have a peculiar smell but light scent of Camomile ( I'm not aware of it, do you? )
When you massage the product on dry skin, it glides on to the skin by taking an oil form which helps to remove all the makeup. Gentle massage is enough to wipe off all the makeup and dirt from your face.
Next, you can use any face wash with warm water to clean the dissolved makeup on your face.

Step 1

Step 2

Step 3

Pros :
  • Great makeup remover for the stubbornest of the makeup ( even waterproof mascaras are removed easily ).
  • Sturdy packaging.
  • Doesn't cause any irritation on the skin or eyes.
  • Price is not too expensive compared to other cleansing butters in market.
Cons :
  • Should use your fingers (clean fingers) or seperate spatula to get the product.
  • Must wash your face with face wash after cleansing because it welcomes some white patches on the skin.
  • Very light scented.

Do I recommend it??
If you like using cleansing butters, this is a Must Have for its formulation and price. If you'd like to go for cheaper cleanser which also does the same job (to see my review here).
